Anxious
We all experience anxiety from time to time - in response to stressful events we can naturally feel anxious, nervous or worried. Experiencing symptoms such as tension, a racing heart, shortness of breath, cold and hot flushes. Once the event or situation is over though, the anxiety usually goes away.
With an anxiety condition, symptoms and feelings tend to be more persistent, unrelated to a specific event and have a negative impact on day-to-day life and functioning. To help assess your level of your anxiety tick all the statements that apply to you at this time, from all three sections. Be as accurate as possible.
